The International Labour Organisation (ILO), a United Nations agency, charges Burma’s regime with a ‘crime against humanity’ for its widespread and systematic use of forced labour. It is estimated that up to possibly two million men, women, children and the elderly are forced to labour for the military. |

Actual conditions, difficulties, tasks of union education are surveyed. With this survey results, we can compare the background and situation among affiliates, and work out planning of union education, necessary to develop union education. |
Under the pressure from globalisation of neo liberalist attack, job security is increasingly threatened. ICEM-A/P surveyed the union's strategy to protect jobs: their schemes on negotiation with employers, growing temporary jobs, company mergers, lay-off, new technology, etc. In our region, employment is turned out to be very fragile. We should find out why and how to cope with it.
